Vintage Pottery From West Germany
This is a catalogue of pieces of vintage mid-century studio pottery made in the former West Germany. All this art pieces have been identified by the makers' marks on the bases and are or were for sale at Fab Fings.
Large 1960's West German Bay Keramik pottery glazed vase. Model 94-40 in mid-blue with an ocher Aztec design around the centre and a fun swirled design border at the base and below the neck.
This is a rare piece of 60s vintage studio pottery fat lava vase made in the former West Germany by Schlossberg. The fat lava glaze is very thick and very textured and the glossy red glaze with studs makes this a very striking piece.

Above is a 1960s West German pottery vase. Stamped '164-21 W.Germany' by Dümler & Breiden. Almost 22cm tall and 723g in weight.

Above is a mid-century vintage pair of red fat lava vases by Scheurich, model number 231-15. 15.5cm tall. Both in excellent condition with no damage.
Above is a vintage mid-century West German pottery pitcher vase, made by Carstens Artelier. It has the distinctive fat lava glaze that has a very thick mottled appearance and an orange drip glaze.
This collectible piece is marked '1007-27' on the base, the 1007 referring to the shape and the 27 to the height, although the actual height is 28cm.
This is a large piece of vintage 60s pottery by Carstens Tonnieshof of West Germany. This pitcher vase has a fat lava leaden glaze with a green background and has a dark brown glazed interior. It stands 30cm tall and weighs 1.7kg.
The base of the vase above states, 'W.Germ 1510-29'.
