Large square yellow bowl with pinched sides by Albion Clay Company of England, possibly Sheffield. Extremely rare bowl and a very rare example of work by Albion Clay, which was in production around the 1920s, making this bowl around 100yrs old. 22cm across and 10cm tall. Very heavy at 1.5kg. Good condition for the age with no chips or cracks and just some age-related darkening to the slightly crazed yellow glaze. Clear maker's stamp to the base.
