Two antique solid silver and cut glass trinket boxes. The lids have a repousse decoration of an angel speaking into the right ear of a lady, surrounded by elaborate naturalistic engraving. They are fully hallmarked very descretely in the engraving for solid English silver, assayed in Birmingham. The pot for the larger one is molded glass and the smaller one is cut glass. Both glass posts are in good condition. The lids are battered and the larger lid is a struggle to fit, although it does eventually. The larger pot is 5cm tall and 8.5cm in diameter.
