Ladies Solid Silver & Diamond Necklace - Birmingham 31g

Ladies' solid silver and diamond necklace. The strong snake chain is decorated with three flowers, each flower centre being a 5 point diamond. The necklace is 52cm long and the flowers are 1.5cm in diameter. There is a toggle clasp and the chain ends have 925 stamps for solid silver and also a very small marker's mark and Birmingham mark. This is clearly a designer piece but the maker's mark is indecipherable. It's a very unusual necklace so, perhaps, it was a one-off design. The three five point diamonds are very sparkly. It's unusual to find diamonds set in silver, which adds weight to the possibility this necklace was a showpiece. 31g in total weight. Preowned but in lovely condition.
